Firstday in the morning April 14, 2008 , 5:00 am at PAL Office, Roxas City Airport, I’m waiting for Alex and Cathy there. We wear a formal attire to look like a being professional as an OJT. We have to be schedule monday to friday morning for our duty and after our OJT done Rachel and Willy are being schedule in the afternoon and every weekends.

      Then at the office of the manager, all we have to do is that we sit down and wait for the signal of the manager to assign us in our respective area, then we feel nervous and ashamed to the manager but we have to be strong to face them all. But were not lucky that time because their machine is defected so we have to do is manual process for the check-in area. It is hard for us too and time consuming in giving services to the passengers and there is a tendency of committing errors.

      In the next day after the flight we had been assigned to do work. After my work done in other room I go to the check-in area I saw Alex and Cathy crying…. If i’m not mistaken, one of the member in the check-in area committed some errors and the manager got angry about it and maybe it’s our fault making errors. Sir Badong explained to us that there is nothing wrong about it, we are right to do our job. Lunch break time Sir Badong invited the three (3) of us to have a lunch with him at Mang Inasal and we are so shy because of what happen that day.

      We learned more about what OJT means and to be patient is more important when you have a relationship to other people especially when you do not know them well. I had encountered different attitudes between clients and my employer, they have more jokes than us and we have to be sports and control our feelings. We meet new friends inside the company even though they have more guys than girls. We have a new co-OJT trainee named Maureen. She is a tourism student from Iloilo. Mauren is a nice person and kind to us.

          Being simple is not the way to compare your life to others. It is your personality to show them that the simple things is enough for you to being one of the most contented person as simple as you are.

          Making simple things are easy to do but theres always a tendency that some people are trying to put you down besuase of your life style in your self not just you dont want to wear some unique things or like “fashionista”, but it also about where you are comfortable in such things you want to do.

Roxas City is the capital of Capiz, it is located at the northeastern tip of Panay Island. The landscape is dotted with verdant hills on mostly flat interwined with a network of brackish waters abundant with marine wildlife, the very reason why this paradise is dubbed as the seafood capital of the Philippines. A laid-back atmosphere prevails in the City imbuing it with the sense of timelessness. Each days begins with the people involving themselves in various economic jobs and sundry tasks. Everyone tries to get everything done before sunset.

            Roxas city has basically an agri-based economy. Farming and fishing are the major activities and the city’s land area are devoted to these activities. The Roxas city is now moving forwards it is the center trade of commerce not only in the Province of Capiz but also in some other places. Our products like palay, corn, oysters, dried and fresh fish, crabs, shrimps and other various shells.

                                   Our most awaited annual festival the “Sinadya sa Halaran”, which means “joy in sharing”, held in the month of December to commemorate the feast of our lady of Immaculate Concepcion. There also have a dancing contest of every group they called it “Tribu”, and there is also a live band in the night and amateur contest. This various activities that showcase the true capizeño spirits are held for the benefit of everyone whether they are residents or visitors to the city. The highlights of the celebrations are the Grand Dancing Parade, Prosesyon sa Suba and fireworks. There also have another festival the Diwal Festival celebrated in the month of July, promotes the exotic shellfish that is now found only in the province of Capiz.

            In terms of the place where people want to relax them self theirs a beach in Baybay where you can play, picnic with your families and friends. And theirs a new “people’s park” where you can stay and make yourself fine and feel the joy of watching the sunset. Inside of Roxas City their also lots of Hotels where you want to stay here. Like President’s In, Midtown Hotel, Image Palace, MVW Hotel, etc.

            When it comes of malling, shopping theirs also a Gaisano City here in Roxas City where you can buy anything that you want and making bonding with your friends and watching movies. And their also have a lots of restaurants where you can eat a delicious foods.

            Panay is one of the most well known municipality here in province of capiz. Because of their oldest church and biggest bell, and it is one of the tourist attraction here when go there. They have the same product us we are like palay. You can go their one ride if you here inside the city of roxas.

     Friends are people who shared their life to everyone else. Friends is a gift to someone you can count on through your ups and down. Having a friend is a forever treasure you can easily replace things but not a friend. Friends shared their thoughts and knowledge to everyone. There’s nothing about you without them. Friends can make our life complete it is included them us as our brothers and sisters make us happy even though we have a problem.

            Friends came along when you’re wounded. Friends never say “no” when you need someone to comfort you. Friends are people trusted to keep your secrete private. Making friends in everyone is not a collection it is a friend who stands by you for a years. If you do have lots of friends then show them your love and care.

      A college life for every individual as a student is more on how to face a difficult decision for your own future. They have lots of student who are experiencing the challenges of being a college. There are times that when you have problem in school you don’t know where or when you can solve it with your own instead you have somebody o lean on with your problem and you can get some advices to her or him. Being a college life are simple but hard to find the exact meaning of being a college student. It takes a long long journey for us to rich our goals in our life. College life is sharing with your self to other people making friends with them.

            We as a college student we know that theirs a lot of changes that we face off. We enjoy the activities we have done in our life of being a college. We need to share the talents that we have by showing of it.

            College life means this is the time for making us mature enough to face all the consequences that we encounter and look forward for being success.
